Modern life is impossible without travelling. Thousands of people travel every day either on business or for pleasure. They can travel by air, by rail, by sea or by road.
Of courde, traveling by air is the fastest and the most convenient way, but is the most expensive too. Travelling by train is slower than by plane, but it has its adventages. You can see much more interesting plase of the country you are trevelling through.
Our trevel begin in Moletai. We go to Vilnius airport by bus, and then we go to Great Britain. The British Isles consist of two large islands, Great Britain and Ireland, and more than 5.000 smaller islands. Great Britain can we be divided into two parts: lowland Britain and highland Britain. Lowland Britain is in the south-east and highland Britain is in the north-west. London is the capital of the Great Britain. It is one of the largest cities in the world. More than 7 mmilion people live in London. London has more theatres and concert halls. Firstly we go to the quiet town of Stratfalupon-Avon, the place where Williams Shakspeare was born, qrew up, died and buried. We see many buildings associated with his llive: Shakspere’s birthplace in Henlley Street.

After that we go to The New Globe Theathre. The original Globe theatre was closed in 1642 and nothing is known about what happened to it. In 1987 thought after many years of careful research, work began to build a new theatre as much like the original as possible.
The House of Par lament is in the part of London called the City of West Minster. We visited Big Ben-it is the biggest clock in the world. Moreover we visited Buckingham Palace where lives The Queen, but there are other royal palaces in London too. The architecture of London streets is a mixture oof old and new.
Another land we go is America. America stretches from the Atlantic Ocean on the east to the American Pacific islands on the west. We arrive to U.S capital Washington. Washington has been dascribed as the most beautiful capital city in the world and the most beautiful American city.
Then we arrived the weather was good and the sun was shining. The climate is one of the worst in the country, very hot and muggy in summer aand not too cold, but damp in winter. Firstly we go to see “the book world”. The Library of Congress has more, than 13 million books in woriuos languages and more than 19 million manuscripts. We have seen millions books at this library and it was shock to us. Then we go to the White House. The U.S Presidents lives and works in the White House.
White House contains: the Capital on Capitol Hill, the saet of the American Congress, the headquarters of the FBI, the pentagon ,the offices of the Defence department, and Arlington Cemetery, where many famous Americans are buried. It is very big and impressive build, moreover we see beautiful fountains near the White House. We visited the Arlington Nacional Cemetery, where President John Kennedy was buried.In it are also buried the bodies of American soldiers from every war since the Civil War.
On the hill behind White House we see the Washington Monument, which looks like a very big pencil.It is very high and from it’s top the whole panorama of the District of Columbia we see.
Then we go to Australia. Australia is a continent in the southern hemisphere between the India and Pacific Oceans. It iis as large as the USA, but large areas are uninhabited.
One third of the continent is desert. The eucalyptus is the best known tree in Australia. Australia is also the home of kangaroo, ostrich, and other rare animals. The Aboriginals live mostly in rural areas and in the tropical north. The federal capital is Canberra. We went to Sydney which is the biggest city of Australia. There are many nice places: museums, theatres, squares, beaches, shops. When went to the National Park to see Australia’s nature and animals. Lastly we went to the beaches to sunbathing and swimming.
