Advantages and disadvantages of having a part-time job

Nowadays more and more students are trying to find a part-time job. There are a lot of reasons for it, but the common one – lack of money. It maybe a bad economical situation of a whole family or teenagers just need money for their entertaiments. Starting a part-time job, not every young person thinks about pros or cons of this decision.

On the positive side, extra incomes improve economical situation of the ffamily.If students earn money for their needs, they also help parents – don`t ask them for additional pocket money. What is more, young people become more independent , more superiority among their friends; it seems that starting their job they enter the world of adults. In this world just they are responsible for decisions and mistakes they make.

On the other hand, part-time job can become harmful for studies at school on in another educational institution. Students can skip classes, motivating tthat their job and money they earn are much more significant, then studies. In addition to this, teenagers may play truant not because they don`t want to get knowledges, but are too tired to come to school if they work iin early morning or until late night and don`t contrive to do homeworks.

To sum up, it`s obvious that working and studying at the same time is a very complicated task. In my opinion, not everybody can manage to do all things perfectly and consequences depend only on person`s qualities.
